He trained on the BA (Hons) Acting and Stage Combat programme at East 15 Acting School, where over three years he received rigorous actor training and was taught and examined in eight weapon systems under world-class fight directors.

He went on to work in London for two years as a professional actor, specialising in film performance within the horror genre.

While continuing to work as an actor, Jack transitioned into directing and producing, combining his experience in front of the camera with his vision behind it. This journey led to the creation of Hoy Motion Pictures and its debut feature film, Season 13, which is currently in post-production.
